Business Analyst (Aristotle Capital Management, LLC; Los Angeles, CA):  Manage and coordinate all activities leading to the successful completion of projects by gathering, analyzing and documenting user requirements. Manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously and find opportunities for new solutions, where data and information can lead to better decision making. Coordinate with cross-functional departments to meet project or initiative objectives. Ensure accuracy of data, reports, and information reconcile to support informed decision-making. Collaborate with production, managerial, and executive stakeholders across departments to develop analysis and documentation. Evaluate, analyze, and communicate systems requirements on a continuous basis, and maintain systems processes, including the delivery of monthly status reports to all appropriate parties. Write and update internal and external documentation and formally initiate and deliver requirements and documentation. Develop meaningful relationships with partners for system integration and respond to questions and concerns from managers and executives with supporting research and recommendations. Define requirements and identify opportunities with internal and external departments, stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and vendors, and present solutions to business challenges. Foresee and understand dependencies, plan for next steps, and being able to multi-task across concurrent deliverables. Communicate project status, issues and manage stakeholders' expectations. Document business, functional, and technical requirements. Perform and assist with software testing including unit and system level testing. Document test plans, results, issue logs and remediation strategies. Write SQL-based database queries to provide data extracts and reports. Hybrid work from home (2 days per week) permitted.

Minimum requirements: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration or related field. Five (5) years of experience as a Business Analyst or related occupation.

Must have experience with the following:

• Institutional asset management workflows: Equities and Fixed Income asset classes;
• Working with stakeholders across departments, Operations, Marketing, Client Services, Onboarding, and Performance, to coordinate data delivery, lead project updates, manage risks, and align on testing strategies; and
• Agile project management using tools such as Jira, Confluence, Excel, and Lucidchart;
• data warehousing concepts and trade lifecycle workflow;
• IVP EDM and Security Master;
• Excel, SQL/VBA, and designing Microsoft PowerBI dashboards: creating complex queries, automate tasks, and design interactive and insightful dashboards for data visualization;
• Scrum and Kanban;
• Investment data concepts: holdings, transactions, security master, analytics, performance, and attribution; and
• Investment data structure, analysis, and reporting.

Salary: $135,000 – 160,000 / per year
